With millions of golf shops around the world you would think that choosing one out of all of them to be the best would be impossible. But experts at Golf World found that the top off-course golf shop in the United States is Carl’s Golfland located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
Amazingly Golf World also gave them second place prize with their store located at Plymouth, Michigan.
So they must be doing something right. But how did Golf World come to this decision on the best Golf Shop in the USA?
Well, to make this determination Golf World considered three factors.
First, the golf shop is measured by the revenue generated per square foot, which is determined by financial statements that must be submitted.
Secondly, the judges looked at the store layout and appearance, which is judged by the photos that are submitted.
Thirdly, the winner is chosen based on their ability to articulate promotions and initiatives held throughout the year, which is determined by an essay that is submitted.
